Spiritual Leadership begins in discipleship. These classes will enhance spiritual growth in Christ. The close relationship with Christ will allow God to work in us to create 1. Vision for The Kingdom of God, 2. Wise Communication to others for the Lord, 3. Trust as a Servant of the Lord, and 4. Positive enablement from the Holy Spirit. This will take patience, determination and faith in a mighty God. We must personally feel inadequate for the task before us but take responsibility under God, (Think of Moses). We must be set free from self to be what God wants us to be. We must be willing to use our worldly resources, Jesus was a carpenter, Paul was a tentmaker. We will not be good spiritual leaders if we are inconsiderate of others and violate the character attitudes grace and mercy. We must seek God’s enabling to have the godly and biblical qualities of elders and deacons, Acts 6:2-8 and I Timothy 3:1-13. Kingdom leadership is value driven and God’s purposes are the goal. Ministry is doing God’s WILL! Kingdom Leadership is hitching your spiritual gift as God wills to the main stream of your life. Do not let failure cause you to throw in the towel; walk with the King and be a blessing. Peter failed and so have we all. We must give up our independence and become dependent on the LORD. I don’t need power I need weakness, 2 Cor. 12:10. |
